Working relationships across different sectors, with each partner having different attitudes and working practices, can sometimes become extremely stressful but they don’t need to be.
“Relationship Matters” pokes a bit of fun at some of the entrenched behaviours of people from both the public and private sector. But more than that, it explores how good partnerships can be if both sides can set aside their expectations and build a more productive, diverse and accessible relationship.
The performance explores the impact of unhelpful historic/entrenched attitudes and behaviours on the working relationship and what we might do to improve it. Relationship Matters is not, however a didactic session. Audience members are encouraged to participate throughout the performance and in the following interactive exercise, aimed at highlighting behavioural change which would allow for more effective working relationships. However, there is NO role play.
